Intermedio 1

What will I learn in this course?

In the Intermedio 1 course you will expand and nuance your Spanish with verbs such as pasarlo bien/mal, parecer and parecerse, llevarse bien/mal, the expressions empezar a and dar miedo etc. You will become more confident in using the Indefinido and learn how to identify and describe people.

 

In particular, the present tense, the Perfect tense (e.g., “Yo he trabajado”), the past tense Indefinido (e.g., “Yo trabajé”) should be reasonably familiar before participating in Intermedio 1.

Topics

You will learn to talk about feelings, about habits and how to give advice. You will talk about past events and learn how to describe others.

Grammar

Various irregular verbs in the Present tense and in the Indefinido.

Intermedio 2

What will I learn in this course?

To participate in the Intermedio 2 level, you are already familiar with the first two past tenses, the Perfecto (“He trabajado”), the Indefinido (“Trabajé”).

In this course, you will work primarily with the Imperfecto (“Trabajaba”), the third past tense, taking your Spanish to the next level. In addition, you will learn the Gerundio (“Estoy trabajando”) and the polite forms of poder and importar (“Te importaría …”).

 

 

Topics

You learn to describe objects, indicate tastes and preferences. You also learn ways to ask a favor, say sorry and justify and ask and give permission, as well as express intentions and talk about past experiences.

Grammar

The Imperfecto, the Gerundio, the Condicional of certain verbs.

Intermedio 3

What will I learn in this course?

Participation in this level requires a thorough knowledge of the Spanish past tenses.

By the end of this level, among other things, you can use the future tense with the form Ir a to make plans, you can read recipes and make requests with the imperative, and verbalize physical complaints. Of course, you can use the three past tenses well.

Upon completion, it has reached level A2 of the European Framework of Reference.

Topics

Topics include talking about recipes , expressing physical symptoms, talking about how you feel, giving advice and telling a story in the past, debating an issue.

Grammar

Future form ir a, querer and pensar with whole verb (” Quiero ir a la playa”), imperative (“¡Come!”) etc.
